Troubleshooting Heart Rate Monitor
How do I use the Heart Rate Monitor?
If you have lost or misplaced the heart rate monitor manual that came with your order, download it here.
My heart rate monitor doesn't seem to be reading my heart rate. What should I do?
It can take up to a few minutes for the monitor to read your heart rate, so leave it on for at least 3 minutes to make sure it has time to receive the signal.
Do I need to do anything to the chest strap?
- Make sure it is fairly tight against your body.
- Also, you may have to moisten the sensors on the chest strap. You can wet your hands and just rub the water on the parts of the sensors that touch your body.
Where should the chest strap be on my body?
It should be just under your chest with the sensors positioned just under each pectoral muscle.
